Clemency Calkin is an artist working currently with textiles, creating contemporary patchwork that combines traditional techniques, global influences and bold colour palettes.

Her works are a celebration of the many possibilities of cloth, and showcase the visual power of the so-called ‘domestic craft’ of needlework.

She has recently moved to Stroud and has a studio in the Textiles room at SVA.
