Roger is passionate about using colour and pattern in his glass making. This is what drives him in his work. He delights in a playful approach to mixing coloured glass and light in whatever form of object he is making.

His glass making has involved many techniques in the past , however his recent focus has been the single minded development of Foam glass , as a material of 3 dimensional art.

He delights in exploring the alchemy of forming the various colours that he uses in his Foam glass constructions. This appeals to his engineering background which combines with his fascination with Geometry, to produce glass of richly coloured pattern.
